Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an experienced Project Management/Principal Project Management Level 2/3 individual contributor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This Position is located onsite in Melbourne, FL. Travel 10%
The successful candidate is expected to be a highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams. This role will actively work with team Program Integrators and Managers to integrate, control, and analyze cost and schedule performance to ensure success. This position will be expected to assist with reviewing status of budgets and with tracking and reporting financial metrics. The selected candidate should thrive working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, engaged within a collaborative team setting.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Support the Ground Systems Team to accomplish a variety of precise, time-sensitive monthly deliverables, metrics, and presentationsCollaborate across functions to ensure all objectives are metAssist with monitoring cost & schedule performance, support business management meetings, and reporting to program leadershipSupports coordinating the efforts of the Supplier Management (SMT) team, including engineers, subcontracts administrators, suppliers, schedule planners, and cost/material plannersEarned value (EV) management for supplier and material control accountsConducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g., technical evaluations of proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOE), cost, and schedule reports)Reporting earned value and supplier status to Program ManagementFacilitate Risk, Issue and Opportunity managementBasic Qualifications
Project Management Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Project Management and/or related experience as defined below, OR Master’s degree with 0 years of Project Management and/or related experience as defined below.Experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for multiple accounts or projectsExperience with Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Earned Value (EV)Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)Experience with Proposals or Basis of Estimates (BOE)Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPrincipal Project Management Level 3:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
