As part of the continued expansion of our European Operational Excellence (OpEx) function, we are now seeking a PMO, OpEx – Europe.

This role sits at the heart of how operational and supply chain transformation projects are governed, organised, and delivered across the region.

This is an ideal opportunity for a structured yet pragmatic project professional who wants to develop into larger, more complex project leadership roles while remaining close to execution.

Key Challenges & Responsibilities

Project Governance & Structure

Establish and maintain clear project governance, cadence, and reporting for OPEX-led initiatives across Europe.Ensure project scope, timelines, risks and dependencies are clearly defined and actively managed.Bring structure and discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Hands-On Project Leadership

Act as project leader for small-to-mid-size operational and supply chain initiatives.Support larger, complex transformation programmes as PMO partner, ensuring consistent execution and visibility.Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining focus on outcomes and value delivery.

Cross-Functional & European Collaboration

Coordinate resources and stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, IT and commercial teams.Operate confidently across diverse European cultures and business environments.Build strong working relationships and influence through collaboration rather than authority.

Performance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track project progress, financial benefits and key milestones across a portfolio of initiatives.Support post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement processes.Contribute to the evolution of Solenis’ OPEX project management standards and ways of working.

About You

3–5+ years’ experience in project management within manufacturing, supply chain, or operational environments.Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) and/or membership of APM/PMI is preferred.Experience managing multiple projects with varying complexity and value.Comfortable working in evolving environments where processes are still being built and refined.Agile, resilient, and pragmatic — able to adapt approach to the situation rather than rigidly applying methodology.Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.Background in chemical manufacturing, FMCG, electronics, or industrial environments is advantageous.Willingness to travel across Europe (approximately 15–20%).
