2026 Summer Intern Location: This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Department Details: Kaiser-s TapMem squad manages the configuration of Epic-s Tapestry Membership module to ensure timely and accurate group and member enrollment supports care delivery and health plan operations. Internship Projects: Kaiser-s TapMem squad, which includes both onshore and offshore contributors, works within Jira and Confluence to deliver feature enhancements and production support. The TapMem intern will have two primary responsibilities: 1. Jira Workflow Support: The intern will support Jira workflow management by participating in multiple daily stand-ups to report progress, identify blockers, and ensure any challenges to completing work are escalated appropriately. Responsibilities will also include cleanup and maintenance of existing Jira records. 2. Documentation Review and Improvement: The intern will evaluate, revise, and enhance our documentation library and playbook, including desk-level procedures for offshore team members. Target Majors: Computer Science; Business Administration; Math/Statistics; Healthcare Administration Target Skillset: Our TapMem intern should possess a high-level understanding of the health care industry, including health plan operations. The intern should have solid skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word, as well as practical experience with Jira and Confluence. The intern must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective follow-up, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
