 Job Description
A global technology manufacturer in the automated equipment industry is seeking a Project Lead / Electronics & Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. This hands-on, highly technical role focuses on the design and development of advanced electronics and electrical architectures for industrial systems used worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering groups in the U.S. and internationally to support new product development, system integration, and sustaining engineering, with a defined path toward future leadership. Responsibilities
 • Lead development of electronics and electrical architectures for automated industrial equipment
 • Design PCB schematics, layouts, and boards; support component selection and BOM updates
 • Develop and integrate power electronics, controls, protections, and interface components
 • Execute and oversee system testing, validation, and compliance activities
 • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and software teams on complete system integration
 • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior members
 Qualifications and Requirements
 • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
 • 5+ years of industrial electronic design experience (control systems and/or power electronics)
 • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Mentor Xpedition, KiCad, or similar)
 • Knowledge of integrating sensors, actuators, PLCs, drives, and I/O architectures
 • Hands-on testing and compliance experience including EMI/EMC and machinery safety standards
 • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global engineering teams
