Project Lead Job ID 226574 Posted 25-Jun-2025 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Construction Location(s) Bengaluru - Karnataka - India We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Project Lead to oversee and manage Interior Fit out construction projects within the Construction sector in Bangalore. This is a critical role requiring a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and proven leadership abilities. You will be responsible for the successful execution of interior fit out projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Project Planning & Execution: + Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for Interior fitout projects above 2 lakhs sq ft. + Oversee the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction to handover, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. + Coordinate and manage all aspects of the interior fit out works, construction, including site preparation, foundation work, structural elements, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. + Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, providing timely solutions and escalating critical issues to senior management. + Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders. + Manage and track project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and adherence to budgetary constraints. + Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. + Manage the permit and approval process with local authorities. + Team Leadership & Management: + Lead a team of 15 or more, motivate, and mentor a team of project engineers, supervisors, and other construction professionals. + Effectively manage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. + Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. + Conduct regular site meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication. + Communication & Stakeholder Management: + Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams. + Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management. + Effectively manage client expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly. + Collaborate with design teams to ensure constructability and value engineering. + Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors. + Quality Control & Assurance: + Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used in the project. + Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the construction process. + Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues. + Oversee the handover process, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards. **Qualifications** Education: Bachelor's Degree in B. Tech/B.E. Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering + Experience: 15-20 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong focus on interior fit out projects within in construction sector. + Technical Skills: + Proven ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish. + In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. + Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) + Soft Skills: + Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. + Strong leadership and team management abilities. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. + Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. + Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. + Results-oriented and a proactive approach to project management.
