Job Description SummaryRole Mission:

Deliver strategic and operational excellence by leading contract related initiatives that optimize commercial processes, leverage data driven methodologies, and enhance organizational efficiency. Ensure scalable solutions that drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and foster collaboration across the PDx organization.

Role Scope:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Contract Negotiations, the Project Initiative Lead operates at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution. The role encompasses project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and implementation of initiatives that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Job Description

Expected Outcomes: 

Driving end to end project management for commercial and operational initiatives across multiple modalities. 

Translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 

Leading cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial Excellence, IT, and external vendors. 

Manage initiatives related to pricing strategies, contract lifecycle, system/process design, and technology adoption (e.g., AI, Salesforce, SAP). 

Overseeing training development for Sales teams and ensuring compliance with operational standards. 

Reporting progress, risks, and lessons learned to senior leadership for continuous improvement. 

Coordinating lessons learned reviews and implementing recommendations for future initiatives. 

Operationalizing strategic and pilot initiatives from Commercial Business Teams by translating high-level objectives into executable processes, establishing timelines, defining KPIs, and coordinating resources. 

Leading commercial projects leveraging emerging AI technologies to optimize processes, enhance decision making, and scale business operations for improved efficiency and growth. 

Driving operational projects including system or process design, contractual and pricing planning, and related methodologies to meet Commercial Operations goals. 

Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy in and support for initiatives. 

Enabling a collaborative culture and driving improvements in customer/client satisfaction and responsiveness. 

 

Critical Experiences Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field; MBA is advantageous. 

Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience. 

Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with staff at all levels within the organization to achieve business goals. 

Experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industry. 

Proven critical thinking skills; able to solve problems and make effective and timely decisions. 

Experience using Smartsheet, SAP, Salesforce.com, or similar tools. 

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines. 

High level of competency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Miro, and PowerPoint). 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Project Management Certification. 

Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification, preferred. 

Knowledge of contracts, administration procedures, and practices. 

Experience leading cross functional teams to achieve results. 

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $113,600.00-$170,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
