Project Executive - Data Center Construction - Boulder, CO 
This opportunity is with an established General Contractor that specializes in converting existing Buildings and Structures into complex buildings / industrial complexes and is looking to expand its foothold even further into the Critical Facilities Market. Our client is taking their expertise and focus and applying it towards brownfield data center projects - which is the process for converting an existing building to a data center for the Hyperscale, Colo or Enterprise Marketplace. We are looking for a Data Center Construction Project Executive to support critical facility construction projects. They will be responsible for all aspects of managing a data center brownfield construction project. This will include providing leadership to contractors and vendors associated with the delivery of company projects. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects on budget, on time and assurance that the project scope and quality meet Company Design Standards and the objectives set for the project. The successful candidate will have to be exceptionally organized and be great with back office work (change orders, budgets, paperwork driven, etc.)

Responsibilities:

Maintain liaison with various contractors and vendors in order to manage the day to day activities that impact the delivery of company’s critical facilities construction projectsThey will be responsible for overseeing a team of project managers that manage individual projects within the overall project portfolio and provide guidance and direction to the teamSolid Project management construction experience; experience managing teams of Construction Professionals, including PMs and SuperintendentsExperience managing Data Center Construction Projects with Budgets between $50MM to $500MM+Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Assist the Senior Project Manager in negotiating contracts with vendors as necessary. Responsible for creating and managing project schedules.Put together Project plans – size up, costs, budget, scheduling, timeline, manage change orders, etc.Assists with reporting and RFPs to ContractorsDeliver Built to Suit projects with a heavy emphasis on value-engineeringDrive Company Standards uniformly as it regards to Project Delivery by all project participants on all projectsManage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income / expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the clientRepresent the company in project meetingsAct as key Liaison with managers of all company departmentsMaintain all logs required to track the progress of the projectPossess an extensive network within the mission critical data center facilities marketBackground in Critical Facilities Design, Architecture, Engineering and Construction Services

Qualifications:

Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor / GC / TradePrevious experience managing a diverse team of high level construction project managers on multi-million dollar projectsMinimum of 8-15+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry data center / critical facilities MEP construction experienceClient Facing /Client relationship / Client Management skillsPMP Certification a plusMust be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projectsSolid Construction Project Management experienceEffective Communicator – emails, phone and face to facePrevious experience in the Military / Military Veterans from all branches a huge plus! Experience with Electrical / Mechanical: Navy nukes - EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, etc.Ability to work independentlySolid Admin skills:  such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)
