Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves coordinating engineering deliverables, schedules, and technical requirements from project kickoff through installation. The successful candidate will serve as a vital technical liaison between various departments and customers, ensuring project compliance and successful execution.

ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical liaison between Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Fabrication, and customers.Support projects from kickoff through installation by coordinating engineering deliverables, schedules, and technical requirements.Assist with mechanical design and layout development using SolidWorks, including assemblies and detail drawings.Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure project compliance.Support and participate in customer design reviews and internal engineering reviews.Coordinate drawing releases, revisions, and final documentation packages.Collaborate with Project Managers to track scope changes, timelines, and technical risks.Support procurement by assisting with BOM accuracy, vendor communication, and component selection.Conduct field verifications, site visits, and installation/startup support as needed.Assist with equipment builds, testing, troubleshooting, and on-site issue resolution.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.Mechanical engineering, SolidWorks, Mechanical design, Project engineering, Design, Pneumatics.Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or material handling environment preferred.Working knowledge of SolidWorks for design review, layout development, and drawing interpretation.Strong understanding of mechanical components such as weldments, actuators, pneumatics, and structural systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams).Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in customer-facing roles is highly advantageous.Knowledge in material-handling equipment, fixture design, and finite element analysis (FEA) is beneficial.An outgoing and sociable personality is desirable for effective customer interaction and collaboration within the engineering team.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
