Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves client interaction and requires proficiency in Excel and general computer knowledge. Candidates should possess excellent social skills and have a background in GC, subcontractor, or engineering.

Responsibilities

Serve as a client interface, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.Utilize Excel and other computer applications to manage project details.Collaborate with teams across the construction, project engineering, and bluebeam sectors.Organize tasks effectively, prioritizing based on customer needs.Demonstrate excellent communication skills and articulate thoughts clearly.Show a willingness to learn and adapt to unique processes, stepping into a project management role as required.

Essential Skills

0-3 years of experience in a related field.Basic knowledge of Bluebeam.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate thoughts clearly.Teachability and willingness to learn unique processes.Ability to step into a project management role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

An engineering degree in any discipline or a construction management degree.Project coordinators with 3+ years of experience are also considered.A GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Work Environment

The work environment is laid-back and collaborative. The position requires travel to job sites out of state, averaging slightly more than one trip per month, with durations of 1-2 nights. The office boasts incredible views and top-notch equipment in a brand new facility. The company has grown significantly over 15 years and is financially strong with a bonding capacity exceeding $100MM. The role is based in the WIC office, and candidates will work in the conveyors group, handling projects for major clients like UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. The company culture values a good fit and willingness to learn, with training provided for any skill gaps.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
