Project Engineer Details:

Direct Hire position$58,000.00 to $65,000.00 /annuallySalaried (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)The primary emphasis shall be performing the assigned tasks that could include but are not limited to document control, scheduling, creating and maintain project documentation, utilizing project management software along with examining and improving company processes.To perform Document Control Functions as assigned.Create and maintain project(s) schedules using both excel and scheduling software's.Participate in staff meetings to report on activities with timely and accurate information.Provide positive support services to other estimating and production teams and field teams including assisting in the coordination of all work.Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) meetings and processes as assigned.Create and maintain Submittal logs and submittal processes as directed.Create and maintain RFI logs and processes as assigned.Work with other Project staff and Project Management Assistants as directed as a part of job set up and invoicing processes.Complete training, gain proficiency, and utilize Project Management Software's as directed.Stay abreast of developments in the industry generally through attendance at seminars, professional association meetings, and industry publications. Endeavor to be actively engaged in at least one organization/activity with an emphasis on and related to the construction industryWork well with others, maintain a positive work environment.

Project Engineer Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Construction Management, appropriate equivalent experience, or related training from an accredited college or university. Bachelor’s Degree preferredCo-op or intern service experience in this or an equivalent sized construction or construction related company, or four years field trade experience in the construction industryMust be able to do mathematical calculations commensurate with this industry.Must have the capacity to understand and develop estimates.Must understand computer technology as it relates to the construction industry.
