Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {MOSE/Project Management} in {Qatar}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.Coaching project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in motor projects /electrical
modernization. Certification in project management (PMP) is preferred.Strong technical knowledge of electric motors, drives, and control
systemsExperience in modernization / service projectsGood project management and coordination skillsAbility to read and interpret drawings, datasheets, and specifications
