Description

The main role of the project engineer will be to assist with the installation/integration of a piece of pen packaging equipment into the facility. This individual will work to:

- understand how the piece of equipment works & how its used so they can write SOP's

- coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to help with the installation of the equipment

- write IQ/OQ documentation & execute them

- Help with planning maintenance on the equipment

- train operators on how to use the machine

- Being responsible for the specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification and hand-over of capital and change projects

- Selecting and managing professional consultants, contractors and suppliers when required for capital and change project implementation

- Developing capital project requirements, resource allocation and plans to meet capital program goals

- Monitoring projects for variance in scope, schedule, budget and risk

- Communicating project status to front-line personnel through to management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering

GMP experience - pharmaceutical or food and beverage

Project Engineer or Project Management experience. Specifically qualification and installation of packaging equipment

Experience with documentation practices such as, writing user requirements, writing documentation for FAT’s, equipment qualification & verification & Change control documentation

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
