\t\t\t\t\tOur heavy civil contracting client is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with strong experience to support heavy civil construction projects. This role is fully on-site in Saline, MI, and requires a candidate with hands-on project engineering experience, excellent communication abilities, and a strong technical background in underground utilities.Strong emphasis on candidates who demonstrate long-term career stability and a consistent track record of commitment to prior employers.Key Responsibilities:Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil construction projects.Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.Track and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.Support construction scheduling and progress tracking.Develop logistics plans and V-Plans to support project execution.Provide CAD support for project layouts, utilities, and construction plans.Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.-3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction.-Proficiency with CAD software.-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents.-Strong communication skills with confidence leading meetings and interacting with stakeholders.-Experience with project documentation workflows (submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes).-Prior experience with construction scheduling tools/processes.Strong technical understanding of:Underground water main systems- Storm sewer systems, Sanitary sewer systems
