We are seeking a mechanically focused Product Engineer to design, build, and support electromechanical products used in behavioral science research. The main emphasis of this role is mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and implementation, with secondary responsibilities that include evaluating electrical components and understanding firmware/software interactions.You will develop new products, improve existing designs, and ensure they are manufacturable and reliable. The role includes hands-on device assembly, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers to resolve technical issues. This position also provides specialized technical support, including travel to Europe a few times per year to install equipment, train users, and perform advanced troubleshooting.This role works closely with leadership, external manufacturing partners, and internal teams to bring innovative, high‑quality products to market.

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical fieldStrong mechanical design foundation; CAD proficiency required (at least 3 years of experience)Familiarity with electronics, sensors, and basic programming conceptsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to travel up to 15%, including international travel to EuropeComfortable working hands‑on with tools, prototypes, and small assembliesAble to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesProvide technical support and training to clients (implementing FAQ videos to minimize this work)

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
