Project Engineer
Job Description We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer with hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering, Substation systems, and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will support the engineering, design, and delivery of power infrastructure projects from early scoping through commissioning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and utility partners to ensure high‑quality, on-time project execution. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required). 3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Electrical Engineering Project Engineering Substation design/operations Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Working knowledge of electrical design standards and industry codes. Experience with power system tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, PSCAD) is a plus. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly. Willingness to travel up to 25%. Experience working with utilities, EPC firms, or renewable energy developers. Familiarity with protection & control design, relay settings, or SCADA integration. Exposure to project management principles (scheduling, cost tracking, risk mitigation). OSHA, PMP, FE, or PE-in-progress a plus.
