Project Engineer
Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Project Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will support an ongoing project with an influx of work, ensuring that we meet our deadlines and quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesSupport project workload efficiently and effectively.Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure project accuracy.Utilize PM software programs, with a strong emphasis on Procore.Manage project documents, including Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Blueprints.Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.Assist in the selection, communication, and management of subcontractors.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of experience in a project support role for a general contractor.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.Strong experience with project management software, particularly Procore.Experience in handling project documents such as Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Blueprints.Capability to create and maintain project schedules and budgets.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction management and commercial construction.Ability to write RFIs and review Submittals.Proficiency in project coordination and engineering tasks.Work Environment

This role is based in our office in Upper Marlboro, where you will work full-time and collaborate directly with the owner. You may occasionally need to visit project sites for progress meetings. You will be part of a small team, taking on multiple roles and responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
