Project Engineer
**Job Description** **Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?** **How you will contribute** The Project Engineer supports capital project execution and is accountable for the quality of results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, business, and innovation processes in project management. You will contribute by: + Strategic Project Development & Business Case Creation: + Creating robust business cases for new initiatives with a focus on identifying various technical solutions that deliver attractive ROI. + Providing critical input for new initiatives, including early risk assessments by identifying potential line issues and analyzing production process-related risks. + Defining and delivering the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders to ensure accurate budgets, plans, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided. + Developing the capital budget according to contract and forecast cash flow. + Engineering Design & Technical Expertise: + Supporting the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets, and roll out best practices. + Actively leading or participating in project meetings, offering expertise in the design of new equipment, process and software logic. + Providing expert consultation and performing benefit-risk analysis for retaining existing non-critical equipment, collaborating with line leaders and technical experts. + Contributing technical knowledge and support to equipment design and proposal development. + Ensuring that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented. + Process Optimization & Documentation: + Supplementing Business Development (BD) instructions for non-standard tests, creating detailed operational procedures for line personnel, and ensuring their correct execution. + For projects involving existing products, providing comprehensive data including product specifications, sensor readings, current overweight data, and other critical information. + Project Trial & Communication Management: + Maintaining regular and active communication with the project team during product/process trials, sharing process parameters, collected data, finished product photos, and identified production issues. + Providing continuous updates on test status, particularly when R&D is not physically present on-site. + Proactively communicating with suppliers as needed, particularly for resolving production-related issues. + Project Execution & Quality Assurance: + Supporting Value Stream Unit (VSU) processes, including ensuring sampling during C and Q project phases, providing crew support, and managing IL6S-related processes (details to be determined during VSU rollout). + Verifying sample collection for Business Development (BD) during trials and initial production runs. + Collaborating with R&D to develop process specifications, verifying ION data against specifications, and ensuring recipe accuracy as agreed with R&D. + Assisting in ramp-up and First Production Approval (FPA) preparation, proactively controlling process settings (parameters, weight, pallet schemes, sensor data, pallet labeling for hold categories) during testing and initial production. + Contributing to loss reduction initiatives, improving General Efficiency (GE), and resolving project-related issues. + Providing detailed comments and insights for the documentation of Lessons Learned to benefit future projects. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career.
