Role Summary:
In this challenging position, the Project Engineer is empowered to be innovative and demonstrate passion for CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) through optimizing activities and solutions that will enhance safety, increase capacity, improve site capabilities, support product quality, and maintain unrelenting customer responsiveness and satisfaction. This position supports the business units in casting aspects (supplier quality, castings, welding, machining, heat treatment, corrosion, trouble shooting) and strikes a great balance between working in both the office and plant environment. The Flowserve Dayton Titanium Foundry Project Engineer will play an essential role in creating “extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world a better place for everyone.”

Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringFoundational knowledge of materials and mechanical propertiesTakes ownership and questions the status quo to achieve results that are beyond what expectedMust be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as a Leader to drive CIP initiatives.Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams with proven track record of successful completion and attainment of project goalsMust possess analytic and problem-solving skillsAbility to write technical reports and translate technical information/data to non-engineering associatesAbility to work with a broad cross section of people from top managers, hourly work force and internal and external customers.Attention to detail and accuracy while handling multiple tasks.Strong organizational and work/project planning skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications
