Job Title: Project Engineer / Project Manager Location: Portland, OR Longterm: Contract, Onsite We are seeking a Project Engineer for one of our Direct clients, based in Portland, OR. The primary responsibilities will be to provide contract project engineering and management of plant capital projects from conception to completion. Scope of projects and activities include assisting, budgeting and/or facilities/utilities work. Roles and Responsibilities: + Provide engineering support and project development for the plant engineer. + Support detailed, capital planning and budgeting for the facility. + Develop detailed engineering plans including but not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, OEM coordination + Economic and Feasibility analysis + Project development, management, and implementation including but not limited to: + Vendor/OEM bid or Contractor sourcing, development, management + Financial Management including cost estimation, budgeting, cost tracking and processing payments. + Tracking of overall cash flow for operations capital budget + Cost control schedule development + Manage scope from concept to completion detail design and the planning of capital budgets + Project Management including contracting control commissioning & startup. + Perform other work as required by the company. QUALIFICATIONS + Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline. + 3- 7 years of experience in a project engineer or project manager role. + Must have solid working knowledge in food processing processes packaging equipment utilities. + Must have skills in capital project development implementation. + Must have strong verbal written communication skills. + Must have excellent organizational skills be detailed oriented able to prioritize manage multiple simultaneous projects If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
