The purpose of this role is to spearhead Principal Projects in the Delivery Area, driving growth and excellence across the division as a key member of the Enterprise Principal team. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and continued development of Turner & Townsend's (T&T) client base, products, and services, as well as fostering a culture and behaviours that prioritise exceptional client service and people. In this context, T&T's Principal Delivery model plays a critical role, where we contract directly with our clients and downstream vendors, taking on the management and allocation of risk for budget, schedule, and quality. As a Principal Delivery expert, you will facilitate all administrative, procurement, and payment processes for suppliers, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including T&T Country Management and Leadership, Enterprise Project Management (PJM) and Sector Leaders, and CBRE Leadership, to ensure a unified approach and drive business success. Your expertise will inform the strategic direction and growth of Enterprise Project Management, providing valuable insights and guidance to shape the company's future. As a corporate citizen, you will work in tandem with other business leaders to achieve company targets, develop talent and succession plans, and present a cohesive and client-centric approach. By doing so, you will contribute to the company's overall success and reputation, while driving growth and excellence in the Principal Projects sphere. **General Activities** + Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties, exceeding customer expectations wherever possible. + Identify and pursue new project opportunities to increase turnover and profit. + Develop and manage a network of reliable delivery partners. + Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with each project. + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. **Growth and Development** + Lead the generation and securing of new sales to meet project plans, including solution development and presentations. + Strategically plan and develop long-term opportunities, creating a pipeline of potential orders. + Explore innovative technologies and solutions to generate new revenue streams. + Develop marketing materials, such as case studies, to showcase project successes. **Relationship Building** + Foster strong relationships with current and potential customers, demonstrating project delivery capabilities. + Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet quality expectations. + Collaborate with operational managers and directors to develop the project's business. **Compliance** + Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards. + Regularly audit and review compliance with these standards. **Business and Financial Management** + Develop and manage project business plans and annual financial plans. + Oversee project finances, ensuring timely delivery, margin leverage, and positive cash flow. + Produce regular financial reports and forecasts. **People Management and Development** + Lead and develop a team of project professionals, providing training and development opportunities. + Establish and implement best practice training programs, ensuring capabilities match future business needs. + Recruit, onboard, and manage talent, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback. **The experience you will bring** + Minimum of 10 years proven project management experience within the Principal Environment + Minimum of 5 years experience of developing new project opportunities of up to £7m per annum + Proven experience of running a P&L + Demonstrable experience in supply chain management + Experience of creating, presenting and managing on bids, tenders and proposals. + Fluent in both German and English. **Aptitude** + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + An excellent relationship builder + Ability to inspire confidence + High degree of integrity + Highly motivated and self-aware + Highly organised with attention to detail + Results focused _Disclaimer:_ _Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner &Townsend were consolidated into a single global business entity.
