Title:

Project Digitalization Manager

The Project Digitalization Manager is responsible for leading all digitalization functions within the project, including the design and implementation of digital and AI solutions. This role ensures seamless integration of digital technologies across the project lifecycle, driving efficiency, compliance, and innovation while maintaining the contractual scope.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for Project Digitialization functions and design of all digital and AI solutions including, but not limited to:

Strategic Planning & Governance

Develop comprehensive digital implementation plans aligned with overall project scope, including:

Execution Plans & Procedures

Schedules

Requisitions

Vendor Evaluation Reports

Workshop Reports

Testing & Training Plans

RACI Matrices

Establish and maintain cybersecurity standards in collaboration with the client.

Ensure cybersecurity controls are implemented across all digital solutions.

Lead a team of Digital specialists in various domains such as Engineering, Construction, commissioning, CMMS, Well Testing, Flow Assurance and oversee their activities

Solution Design & Implementation

Lead workshops to review project specifications for digital and AI solutions; document outcomes and action items.

Develop requisitions and technical bid evaluations (TBE) for Digital System Integrator (DSI) and other digital vendors.

Manage DSI scope and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop interface management plans and coordinate with stakeholders to identify interfaces for existing and new digital solutions.

Develop data collection templates for Data FEED to various Digital Solutions & Interfaces.

Implement staging environments for solution build & testing.                                                         

Stakeholder Management

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the company, contractors, Digital System Integrator (DSI), and vendors.

Drive vendor evaluation and selection processes for digital solutions.

Lifecycle Management

Oversee digital solution activities across all project phases:

Evaluation & Implementation Phase

Design Phase (Data Collection, Functional Design, Detailed Design)

Build Phase

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Site Commissioning

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Integrated SAT (iSAT)

As-Built and Go-Live Phase

Testing & Training

Reporting & Analytics

Develop dashboard status reports and detailed digital solution progress reports.

Monitor KPIs and ensure timely delivery of digital milestones."                                              

                                                         

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 20 years of experience, 3 of which should be in management

Proven experience in digitalization within large-scale Oil & Gas projects including EPC Digital Twin, O&M Digital Twin and AI Technologies but not limited to:

IT, AI solutions, data management, and cybersecurity standards.

Execution plans, RACI matrices, and interface management.

Stakeholder management and communication skills.

Project lifecycle phases and digital solution integration.

Systemic Understanding/Implementation of Digital Project Execution.

Domain expertise in Oil and Gas EPC/O&M Digital Twin Development and other digital applications like Real time Flow assurance Monitoring, Well Testing, Robotics, AR, VR etc

Good Understanding of Information Technology aspects in Oil and Gas Domain

Good Understanding of Cybersecurity in Information & Operational Technology space.

Good Knowledge on Cybersecurity standards like IEC62443

Good People Management skills

Have managed System Integrators, multiple IT/Digital vendors in projects

Hands on experience in using /implementing Digital solutions

Hands on Experience in Applications like Aveva PI, Cognite Fusion etc

Hands on Experience in managing Digital Design Workshops
