This role involves collaborating with internal teams, brokers, project managers, and clients to develop and implement design solutions.
Project Designer will develop documents, drawings, and diagrams to meet all requirements.
Responsibilities
Formulate preliminary space plans that integrate the client’s needs.Develop preliminary plans and detailed design drawings using Revit.Confirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and meet all applicable code requirements.Coordinate with various teams to ensure final outcome of design meet functional requirements of design. Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Track high volume projects progress and identify potential issues or challenges.Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.Develop strong relationships with clients to build trust and foster long-term partnerships.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus)1+ years of relevant work experienceProficiency in REVITUnderstand and manage: phasing, design options, schedulesAbility to read and review construction documents; provide technical sign-off/approvalUnderstanding of the technical aspects of design/construction such as low voltage, construction materials, design concepts/budgets, constructability, electrical and HVAC systemsUnderstanding of building codes and ADA standardsVersed in the five phases of an interior/architectural projectExcellent internal and external customer service skillsEffective interpersonal skills and problem solving abilityStrong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneouslyCushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity employer to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
