Project Coordinator - Radiology Informatics (Full-Time, 40, Day Shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Provides a vital clinical support role by overseeing and streamlining radiology workflows to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of imaging services.
• Serves as a key point of contact for technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams, focusing on the day-to-day functionality of imaging systems, quality assurance, and staff support.
• Bridges operational needs with informatics tools to promote patient safety, workflow efficiency, and clinical excellence.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, healthcare or related field; or four (4) years experience in imaging, information systems, healthcare or related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Techonologist preferred.
C. EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum four (4) years of experience working in a clinical radiology environment, such as a hospital radiology department or outpatient imaging center.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge of imaging workflows, exam protocals, and radiology operations.
o Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and voice recognition software from a clinical user
or coordinator perspective.
o Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simutaneouly while ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Prior radiology informatics experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic Radiant, PowerScribe, GE Centricity, Philips IntelliSpace, or similar systems preferred.
• Involvement in quality improvement, operational efficiency, or accreditation readiness projects (e.g., ACR, Joint Commission) preferred.
