The Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for issuing, monitoring, and controlling _CBRE_ and client specific work permit orders which ensures daily work initiatives are delivered in a manner aligned with all local policies and procedures. **Role requires to be onsite at client campus in Indianapolis, IN 5 days/week with availability for paid overtime and up to one weekend day/month.** **What you’ll do** Ensure all applicable work permits on assigned projects are issued and closed daily and follow all local policies and procedures. Ensure all projects are carried out in a manner consistent with our _CBRE_ Zero Incident safety culture. Monitor work activities throughout the workday on your assigned projects and ensure work activities are being carried out in a manner consistent with the published work permit(s). Work closely with project team and client representatives, including client fire marshal, to ensure project material is properly stowed in acceptable laydown areas. Work closely with Project Manager in the establishment and carry out of a Facility Protection Plan to minimize impact of construction activities within occupied areas of a building. Ensure direct, indirect, and / or outsourced service providers and vendors provide consistent, high-quality services. Maintain healthy relationships with external consultants and vendors while holding them accountable in delivering their scope of work in a timely and consistent fashion. Regularly provide informal updates and formal reports to the Project Coordinator Team Lead as it relates to hours worked, number of permits issued, and safety events for projects. **What you’ll need** Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Strong knowledge of construction practices and workflow process.
