Project Coordinator – Corporate Interiors – JLL
What this job involves:As a Construction Project Coordinator at JLL, you will support a regional project management team and be responsible for providing daily administration related to ongoing and proposed Design and Construction projects for a Financial Services Client. You will facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changes while maintaining project documentation, including requirements, reports, and progress updates, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and easily accessible. This role involves ensuring adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to request for proposals, contracts, affidavits & lien waivers while reviewing and processing project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within the Project Management financial system and confirming accuracy against the budget and/or contract.
What your day-to-day will look like:Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changesMaintain project documentation, including requirements, reports, and progress updates, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and easily accessibleEnsure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to request for proposals, contracts, affidavits & lien waiversReview and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within the Project Management financial systemConfirm accuracy against the budget and/or contract for all financial transactionsSupport regional project management team with daily administration tasksCoordinate between different disciplines to achieve the best results on various projectsManage multiple projects simultaneously to meet assigned deadlinesProvide administrative support for ongoing and proposed Design and Construction projectsRequired Qualifications:Strong verbal & written communication skills & a meticulous attention to detailAbility to think and work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively with multiple individuals on various projects to meet assigned deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointDetail-oriented and organized with a proactive and self-motivated attitudeInterest in the commercial real estate industry, property management, and gaining broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real EstateAbility to facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendorsExperience with project documentation maintenance and organizationPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in, Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management5+ years practical experience in construction or accountingWell-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplinesExperience with PMWebKnowledge of vendor agreements, RFPs, contracts, affidavits & lien waiversUnderstanding of project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoicesExperience with Project Management financial systemsKnowledge of Financial Services Client requirementsLocation:Onsite
