Job Summary: 

The Project Coordinator (PC) role supports planning, coordination and monitoring of assigned projects. The PC will support the project team on assigned projects from inception to completion, handling all administrative tasks in a timely manner and under the budget. The PC works closely with Project Manager(s) & Reporting Manager(s) taking directions on specific tasks that will support project success. The focus will be supporting the project by performing administrative tasks, such as equipment ordering & tracking, schedule maintenance, invoicing, project closing, internal follow-ups, handle meetings etc., but not limited to the mentioned tasks. The position involves coordination of all resources on the project team which includes but is not limited to Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Vendors, Subcontractors. The PC will also be responsible for handling other project related tasks as and when assigned.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Project coordination and administrative tasks: Project conversions and setup Equipment ordering & tracking Shipment requests and tracking Quote request from vendors Vendors & Sub-Contractors onboarding Project Inventory maintenance Handling equipment returns Project billing Coordinate with the project team on any changes to the project that may impact on the final project cost and/or project schedule Project close-out checklist and project closure Effectively communicate status on assigned tasks with the Project team on a regular basis Maintain project status reporting, planning, and support the project teams in meeting project deadlines Responsible for following the D365 Project Lifecycle and completing all necessary tasks within the deadline to ensure successful completion of the project.

Office environment, desk/PC/phone usage.

 

Job Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:

4-year college degree - with business, administration, or technical concentration preferred.

 

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Ability to handle multiple priorities across multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner Attention to details Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills – verbal, face-to-face and by phone, and written – for both internal and external interactions Knowledge of all Microsoft productivity products – Outlook, Excel, Word, Project (preferred) - and strong technical aptitude to learn new IT programs Familiarity with remote Project Managing system service and installations with outsourced labor, vendors and contractors will be a plus
