Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support utility transmission projects across California and Oregon. In this role, you will work closely with field crews, project leadership, and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple streams of information in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a key role—ensuring accurate data flow, smooth coordination, and timely reporting for projects that serve communities across the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily construction administrative support for multiple active projects in California and Oregon.Coordinate with 30–100 field personnel, including crews, foremen, and project leaders.Perform substantial data entry, field documentation collection, and reporting tasks.Serve as a communication bridge between field teams, office staff, subcontractors, and leadership.Assist with subcontractor coordination, including tracking and processing change orders.Support field staff with basic IT troubleshooting and schedule interpretation.Maintain material inventory, track project progress, and manage client-facing reports.Required Skills & QualificationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and general data organization tools.Strong computer literacy with the ability to manage files, spreadsheets, and reports.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both demanding clients and field personnel.1–5 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, or project management OR recent college graduates eager to learn and grow.Ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Northern California and Southern Oregon.Preferred AttributesFamiliarity with utility, construction, or engineering environments.Experience supporting field operations or interacting with construction teams.Strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic project environments.Work EnvironmentPrimary work location is a project trailer situated on active job sites.Standard workday begins around 7:00 AM, with occasional overtime during high‑volume periods.Regular travel required to project locations, including remote areas in very Northern California and Southern Oregon.Highly collaborative environment focused on communication, responsiveness, and supporting field operations.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Crescent City, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $42.00/hr.
