**Job Title: Project Coordinator (Construction)**
**Job Description**
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager, Superintendent, and other leadership to ensure smooth project execution. This position acts as a vital link between the office and the field, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and quality targets are achieved without hindering production.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plan and schedule project activities to meet deadlines.
+ Procure materials, verify quantities, and coordinate deliveries to job sites.
+ Maintain organized logs of materials, submittals, and approvals, and manage long-lead items.
+ Arrange equipment rentals and coordinate maintenance, mobilization, and demobilization.
+ Organize and maintain current drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
+ Support quality and safety standards across projects.
+ Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-4 years of experience in construction coordination, field engineering, or foreman-level support, preferably in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil sectors.
+ High school diploma or GED required; AA/AS or trade school preferred.
+ OSHA 10 certification preferred; First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
+ Proficiency in reading plans and specifications, basic takeoffs, and familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and change order processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication skills with a focus on transparency and timely updates.
+ Problem-solving skills to anticipate and address issues effectively.
+ Understanding of construction flow and project dependencies.
+ Experience with software tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.

**Work Environment**
Primarily office-based role with occasional requirements to be present on job sites. The role involves working with technology such as smartphones and tablets to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Savannah, GA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
