Project Coordinator
**Job Title: Project Coordinator** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Project Coordinator to join our project management team. This role is crucial in supporting the execution and delivery of commercial construction projects. The Construction Coordinator provides essential support to our Project Manager for new construction, and the ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively. While experience in the construction industry is advantageous, it is not a requirement. **Responsibilities** + Assist project managers in planning and coordinating commercial construction projects. + Maintain project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules. + Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project components. + Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and all project-related correspondence. + Communicate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support procurement and logistics. + Track budgets, monitor expenditures, and help prepare financial reports. + Accurately process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports related to project costs. + Schedule and document project meetings; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. + Help gather and submit permit applications. + Manage project close-out documentation. **Essential Skills** + At least 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role in the commercial construction or mechanical services industry. + Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with project management tools. + Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with all stakeholders. + Ability to multitask, prioritize workload efficiently, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team. + High school diploma or equivalent is required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment where employees can thrive professionally and personally.
