We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Project & Development Services (PDS) team, supporting the delivery of capital works for a high-profile government client. Based in Sydney or Brisbane, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team delivering essential public sector infrastructure.The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in financial reporting, project administration, and coordination within the construction or built environment. Proficiency in Procore is essential, as is holding a current security clearance to work on sensitive government projects.
Job Description
Security Clearance Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
Australian Citizenship is requiredMust hold an active Australian Government security clearance (Baseline or above)Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end financial, project, and administrative support across multiple projects
Manage and reconcile project budgets and ensure accurate reporting and financial tracking
Raise and manage purchase orders, including PAFs and RFPOs
Prepare and coordinate client-facing financial reports and related documentation
Assist with handover/takeover(HOTO) reporting, and support on-site activities such as building inspections as required
Contribute to business development support, including proposal preparation, presentation materials, and updates to internal databases
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in project coordination with strong financial management capabilities
Procore expertise is mandatory
Experience within construction, infrastructure, or built environment sectors
Proficiency in corporate systems such as JDE, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Office Suite
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities
Previous experience supporting public sector or government infrastructure projects is highly desirable
