Project Coordinator (80% Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers throughout the design and construction lifecycle of building engineering projects. This role is responsible for managing project documentation, schedules, and administrative workflows, while serving as a key point of coordination between Project Managers, internal design teams, clients, and contractors. The Project Coordinator will help ensure clear communication, timely deliverables, and adherence to project standards by coordinating submittals, RFIs, contracts, and specifications, and maintaining accurate records in systems such as Deltek and SharePoint. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as tools like Bluebeam or Adobe. This position is well‑suited for someone with experience supporting engineering, architecture, or construction teams who is interested in growing into a Junior Project Manager role. Candidates must have prior experience working in an engineering, architecture, construction, or similar professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation across project folders, Deltek, SharePoint, and other required systemsSchedule, prepare for, and participate in project kick‑off and recurring check‑in meetings; document and distribute meeting minutes as neededAssist with the assembly, review, and distribution of project deliverables to ensure alignment with company standardsSupport the preparation, editing, and execution of contract documents from project award through closeoutCoordinate project specifications with Project Managers, internal teams, and external consultantsManage and track submittals and requests for information (RFIs), coordinating with appropriate team members to ensure timely responses to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

 2+ years of experience as a Project CoordinatorExperience working in an engineering, architecture, construction, or similar professional services environment

Nice To Have:

Bluebeam, Deltek, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Adobe

Work Environment: This company is based in Golden, CO. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day in office. There is occasional out-of-town meetings with Project Managers with advance notice. This person must be able to attend in-person meetings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
