Job Title: Project Controls SpecialistJob Description

Join our dynamic project controls team as a Cost and Schedule Analyst, supporting a variety of projects within the EPC Refurbishment environment. In this role, you will work closely with a Project Manager, overseeing both large and small projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in cost and schedule management will be critical as you create proposal schedules, conduct critical path analyses, and implement Earned Value Management techniques.

ResponsibilitiesSet up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for large and small projects.Develop and maintain cost software templates for project and outage work.Provide Project Managers with Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) as needed.Update scheduling within OPG schedules and the company's General Contractor schedules.Report monthly on projected gross margins at the completion of project work.Forecast project costs and identify potential cost overruns.Utilize Earned Value Management to calculate CPI and forecast labor costs.Set up and maintain change management systems both internally and externally.Develop proposal schedules and manage subcontractor engagements.Support a single Project Manager with all project-related cost analysis and scheduling tasks using Primavera P6.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in Project Controls, particularly in cost and schedule management.Strong scheduling skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6.Valid Nuclear Security Clearance.Experience within an EPC environment in industries such as infrastructure, utilities, nuclear, power generation, or oil and gas.Advanced skills in Critical Path Analysis, Work Breakdown Structure, and SPI.Additional Skills & QualificationsCommon knowledge of construction practices.Experience in team meetings to ensure schedules and budgets are met.Experience with OPG or similar organizations.Work Environment

This position is based in either the Pickering or Darlington office, requiring a five-day work week on-site. The role typically involves a 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime for last-minute proposal schedules. You will join a team of 19 professionals, with plans to expand the team further.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
