What You’ll Do + Develop and maintain integrated project schedules that keep engineering, procurement, and construction teams moving in sync + Build and refine WBS structures that support accurate planning, reporting, and forecasting + Set up and manage project data within Enterprise Planning & Controls systems + Run schedule health checks, logic reviews, and what‑if analyses to anticipate risks before they hit + Support resource planning and workload balancing across multidisciplinary teams + Track schedule impacts from purchase orders, change orders, and field adjustments + Collaborate with Project Management and Accounting to align budgets, contingencies, and schedule‑driven cost forecasts + Assist with earned value tracking to measure performance and drive accountability + Conduct field audits and schedule validations to ensure real‑world progress matches the plan + Deliver clear, data‑driven schedule insights that keep leadership informed and projects on track Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience) + 3+ years of project controls or scheduling experience + Ability to obtain OSHA‑10 certification + Experience with project scheduling tools (no P6 required—flexibility welcomed) Work Environment Join a 30‑person consulting engineering team in downtown Lexington, where collaboration is natural and the culture is business‑casual but driven. + Occasional day trips to client sites + Nationwide project exposure + 30 work‑from‑home days per year + Clear pathways for career growth, including advancement into project management Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.
