We are seeking a Project Architect to play a crucial role in coordinating with studio directors and project managers to schedule and prioritize project assignments. The successful candidate will assist project teams in developing design concepts and technical detailing for individual buildings and multi-building campuses, while also overseeing and reviewing technical documents for standards, code compliance, constructability, and industry best practices.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with studio directors and project managers to schedule and prioritize project assignments.Assist project teams in the development of design concepts and technical detailing for individual buildings and multi-building campuses.Oversee and review technical documents for standards, code compliance, constructability, and industry best practices.Maintain relationships with project subconsultants and oversee multi-discipline drawing coordination.Provide mentorship to junior staff and offer guidance on assigned tasks.Research building assemblies, materials, and products and assist in the development of related specification data and construction details.Participate in construction administration tasks, including site visits throughout California and QC reviews of submittal and RFI responses.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Minimum eight years of experience within a small to medium-sized firm/studio environment.At least two years of experience in highly technical project types such as industrial, administration offices, control rooms, laboratories, health care, maintenance facilities, public works, or transportation facilities.Architecture licensure in California. Licensure in Oregon, Nevada, and/or Washington state is also desirable.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to sign and stamp construction documents developed under your responsible charge.Experience with project management and construction administration.Experience with design development and architectural design.Knowledge of construction document and construction management.Work EnvironmentOur office operates on a hybrid schedule with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. The office hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. We offer paid time off ranging from 15 to 25 days based on years of service, along with paid holidays. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
