We are seeking an Architect II–III with strong Revit skills to support K‑12 education projects from early design through construction. The ideal candidate combines design sensitivity with technical rigor, thrives in collaborative teams, and helps deliver thoughtful, high-quality learning environments on schedule and within project constraints.
ResponsibilitiesProduce and coordinate Revit models and drawing sets across SD/DD/CD/CA phasesDevelop technical details and ensure code‑compliant, buildable solutionsCoordinate with structural, MEP, and specialty consultants for cohesive documentationParticipate in programming, planning, and K‑12 user‑group engagement as neededSupport permitting and jurisdictional processes, including responses to commentsContribute to construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site reports, punch lists)Prepare presentation materials, diagrams, and visuals that clearly communicate design intentUphold BIM standards, QA/QC checklists, and consistent documentation workflowsRequired Qualifications4–8 years of professional experience in architecture (Architect II–III level)Advanced Revit proficiency (families, worksharing, views/sheets, coordination)Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)Experience on K–12 or similar institutional projects (new construction and/or modernizations)Solid understanding of building systems, assemblies, and detailingStrong communication skills and collaborative working stylePreferred QualificationsArchitectural licensure (or active path toward licensure)Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks (LEED, CHPS, WELL, LBC)Experience with Enscape, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative SuitePrior experience coordinating large consultant teams and complex project phasingDisqualifiersNo Revit experience or insufficient Revit proficiencyNo experience supporting K–12, institutional, or similar project typesLess than 4 years of architectural experienceInability to produce coordinated SD/DD/CD documentationNo experience with consultant coordination (structural/MEP)Job‑hoppy tenure patterns (frequent very short stays)Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
