Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the public sector and be skilled in handling existing conditions documentation through all phases of design development. This role involves creating renderings, presentations, construction documents, and managing project administration and quality control from conceptual design through construction closeout.

Responsibilities

Produce construction documents and technical specifications for public bidding.Follow production schedules and meet multiple simultaneous deadlines.Collaborate with in-house design teams, project architects, engineers, designers, technicians, and outside consultants, as well as Construction Managers and client representatives.Ensure quality control requirements, cost budgets, and time deadlines are met to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction.

Essential Skills

Project managementArchitectureProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitExperience with construction documents and construction managementDesign and construction administrationExperience in public works, K-12, and higher education

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor of ArchitectureProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and AdobeStrong design and graphic skills with the ability to work in Sketch-Up or other modeling/presentation software packagesExcellent verbal, written, and visual communication skillsSelf-driven with a desire to learn and grow professionallyIndependence and ability to multi-task and meet multiple simultaneous deadlinesExperience in client interaction and presentations

Work Environment

You will be joining a close-knit office of four total employees, working five days a week in the office. Our team values a collaborative and dynamic work environment where each member's contributions are integral to the success of our projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Albany, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
