A large construction firm is seeking to hire two skilled Project Administrators for an 8-month contract. The position is located in Bremerton, WA and offers a 7am to 3:30pm shift. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to marine construction and/or dredging project sites. This position requires travel and the ability to support various projects within the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and computer skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Initiative, problem-solving, multitasking abilities, and maintaining confidentiality are crucial for success in this role.
ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and clerical support, including faxing, scanning, processing daily mail, correspondence, filing, and managing spreadsheets.Coordinate project team meetings.Answer phones, forward calls, record messages, and provide necessary follow-up.Set up field office, housing, and vendors for remote job sites.Arrange and coordinate onsite maintenance and repairs by outside contractors.Manage project document control on SharePoint, including handling preliminary notices, conditional lien waivers, change orders, purchase orders, and subcontracts.Order and manage office supplies and assist with submitting purchase requisitions.Process project-related accounts payable invoices.Review field timecards and manage subcontractor certified payroll.Assist project personnel with payment accruals, material purchase orders, change orders, and cost reports.Conduct new hire onboarding and coordinate training sessions.Act as a liaison between the field and HR department.

The position is based in a construction worksite trailer, and candidates must be comfortable working in this setting. The role demands the ability to handle strong personalities and possess a thick skin due to the nature of the construction industry. Opportunities for extending the contract may arise if the workload increases.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
