GFT is seeking a Project Administrator to join our Right of Way Team in Houston, TX! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Houston, TX office.
GFT’s Right of Way (ROW) team delivers full-service real estate and relocation solutions that support infrastructure, community, and energy projects nationwide. Our certified professionals (SR/WA, R/W-RAC, and more) bring technical expertise and client-focused service to every project.
What you’ll be challenged to do:
As a Project Administrator, you should have dynamic communication skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. You must be able to organize projects and materials in addition to having strong computer and writing skills. In this position, you will assist our Team with project related tasks.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
General administrative and project support for the Row Manager and ROW TeamDrafting/preparing letters, letter templates, emails, and other correspondencePreparing real estate packagesProcessing checks received (copying, scanning, logging in, etc.), transmitting to client bookkeeperReport generation and accurate data entryDocument tracking and reportingScheduling and coordinating meetings for manager and team membersElectronic filing and recordkeepingOther duties as assigned in support of the real estate operationsEducation | Experience:What you will bring to our firm:
Highschool DiplomaMinimum 7 years' experience as a Project Management Assistant, Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or relatedStrong financial/general accounting experience, business math experienceProficient writing skillsAbility to read basic correspondence and or contracts/real estate documents for basic understandingAbility to multitask and prioritizeStrong computer skills, including MS Office 365 Suite (MS Word, MS Excel); and Acrobat AdobeKnowledge of TeamsProficient in producing/preparing mail mergers for large volumes of mailoutsTeam player, collaborativeWhat we prefer you bring:
