Project Accountant

Description

The Accountant III is responsible for journal entry preparation, calculating shipping costs and standard cost of sales, and analyzing production output (including standard hours and other production-related metrics). Additional responsibilities include completing month-end close processes including data mining, reporting on asset management and FP&A, and reviewing financial results.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

Work Environment

Client is experiencing an infusion in capital investment for the facility, 2-3x what they normally would have. There are internal audits ongoing concurrently that they are not used to having at this facility. There is also an increased data analysis-type work they are doing for senior leadership that is more extensive than what they had been doing in the past. As it grows, they are experiencing growth in a lot of different reports that always request data with business resources accounting.

- Mostly office cubicle, conference room, and occasional visit to the plant floor

- Must be onsite at least 3 days a week, but may require 4-5 at times. Only for non-local resource.

- Opportunity to work from home up to 2 days a week as the business allows

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $35.00/hr.
