Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Programmable Operator to join their team. As a Programmable Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Programmable Operator
**Location:** Clare, MI
**Pay Range:** $18.50 to $19.50 an hour depending on shift
Shift
1st - 8 am to 4 pm
2nd - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd - 12 am to 8 am
*overtime for any shift is scheduled prior to shift start time. Overtime can be heavy including working on Saturdays.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
+ Desire for 2 years of experience and/or educational courses related to machinery.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and AutoCAD.
+ Experience in CNC programming and thermal cutting machinery.
+ Welding knowledge is preferred.
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect incoming material for quality specification and quantities.
+ Receive and issue raw material to and from saws, trucks, and storage areas by operating an overhead crane.
+ Work primarily on the robotic welder and fabrication of products utilizing CNC machines.
+ Program, set up, operate, and adjust process variables to meet quality demands.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
