Our client, the Global Leader in Technology is seeking a seasoned Senior Field Operations Construction Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of complex data center construction projects. This strategic role requires strong leadership, advanced project management skills, and deep expertise in data center operations and construction. **Job Title:** Senior Field Operations Construction Program Manager **Location:** Chicago, IL - 100% Onsite **Type:** Contract **What’s the Job?** **Business Process Management** + Develop and implement best practices to identify and deliver cost-effective construction solutions. + Manage vendor selection, contracting, and integration of multiple internal and external partners. + Drive scalable solution deployment across data center construction projects. + Facilitate decision-making on project solutions, schedules, and change management. + Apply strategic thinking, negotiation, and influence to evaluate options and recommend effective solutions. **Communication & Stakeholder Engagement** + Monitor and review cost metrics, KPIs, invoices, and policy/process communications with client partners. + Serve as the single point of contact for project development and delivery. + Coordinate project meetings and vendor activities, incorporating lessons learned. + Participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, providing timely updates. + Provide consistent weekly project status reporting on scope, schedule, and budget. **Accountability & Financial Management** + Lead safety, scope, schedule, budget, and risk management for assigned projects. + Maintain direct fiscal responsibility for the approved project budget. + Operate independently while supporting broader data center operations. **Vendor Management & Contract Compliance** + Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Project Execution Requests (PERs), and related approval documentation. + Validate vendor costs, including pay application and change order review and approvals. **What’s Needed?** + High School Diploma or equivalent **AND** 6+ years experience in data center construction or mission-critical environments **OR** equivalent experience. + 4+ years managing end-to-end delivery of complex data center construction or related mission-critical projects, working with cross-functional teams and independently meeting deadlines. + Deep understanding of construction management practices including cost control, scheduling, and safety protocols.
