The AGL team is looking for a strong candidate for the role of Program Manager- Cross Border Operation Management. In this role the successful candidate will understand Amazons Fulfillment Network and will develop optimized processes to manage the inventories and shipments with high quality. They will develop a process path to enable a cost effective fast delivery service to our customers in neighboring countries clearing Customs and delivering through the last mile. The successful candidate will thrive off waking up daily and determining how well we performed to our goals, and how we satisfied our customers today. Knowledge of FC inventory quality management, Good data sense and clear logic thinking is a key strength for the ideal candidate. Functional knowledge of data an analysis tools, standard deviation fundamentals and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses will be integral to this role. A successful candidate will be able to show proven results in developing action plans as well as improvements implemented as a result of those plans. Additionally a successful candidate will be able to display strength influencing cross functional teams to take action on the data, as well as developing action items to improve results over the short and long term.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate inventory control, quality assurance and problem solve operations in accordance to network strategies and ensuring compliance and consistency with SOX
Oversee projects to streamline processes, increase quality and optimize productivity
Ensure KPIs are reviewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform quality analysis on any behaviors/processes that could impact inventory integrity and Customer esperience
Gain expertise in key fulfillment center process paths and its exceptions handling in order to drive processes continuous improvement alongside the operations management team
Basic Qualifications
- 1. 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 2. 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3. 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 4. Bachelor's degree
- 5. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- 6. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- 7. Experience interpreting internal requirements to external logistics service providers (LSP)
- 8. Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1. 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 2. 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 3. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- 4. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- 5. Knowledge about end to end cross border transportation management, especially driving the right balance between cost and efficiency improvement through managing various LSPs across different regions
