### **Role Overview**
As a Program Manager on this team, you will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of programs delivering deep insights across **Maps and Autonomous Vehicle (AV)** use cases. This role spans both strategic and operational responsibilities and requires a strong combination of **technical acumen, program leadership, and business judgment**.
You will lead complex, cross-functional technology programs, partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations, and ensure high-quality delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
### **What You Will Need**
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs from definition through execution, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives
- Drive operational excellence and execution rigor across Maps and AV-related charters
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven insights that improve models, identify failure points, and enhance end-user experience
- Manage globally distributed teams and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes
- Own program budgets and drive cost-efficiency initiatives while maintaining quality standards
- Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement through performance analysis and experimentation
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes through regular updates and business reviews with senior stakeholders
### **What You Will Do**
- **Program Leadership:** Define program scope, OKRs, and KPIs; ensure strong alignment with stakeholder priorities and product goals
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Lead coordination across Operations, Engineering, Product, and Data teams to support diagnostics and analytics needs
- **Execution & Delivery:** Independently manage large vendor teams to drive quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of qualitative and quantitative insights
- **Financial Ownership:** Own program budgets for Maps and AMD charters; run experiments to transition to lower-cost operating models without compromising quality
- **Continuous Improvement:** Analyze performance metrics and implement process and operational optimizations
- **Stakeholder Communication:** Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and executive-level updates
### **Basic Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline
- 6+ years of experience managing large-scale, dynamic programs or projects
- 4+ years of experience leading Quality and/or Mapping charters in a scaled operations environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across globally distributed teams and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to derive insights and tell compelling stories using data
- Experience working in the **Maps, Routing, ETA, or LIDAR** technology space from a data and analytics perspective
- Ability to apply technical judgment to software engineering challenges, including bug triage, testing, source control, and continuous integration
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Masters degree in science or business
2. Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
3. Experience in defining and driving data quality metrics
4. Ability to influence a highly integrated team of technical and non-technical members as well as working with or managing third-party vendors
5. Technical documentation and training experience around LiDAR, AVs and GIS
6. Worked in mapping, GIS, ride-sharing, or logistics
7. Supported or managed vendor teams with deep understanding of budget
8. Solid experience in handling SQL, Python, GIS and GenAI tooling
