Program Manager
Job Title: Program ManagerJob Description

This is a technical and tactical role where the Program Manager will have budget responsibility for a multi-million dollar program delivering a full suite of products and system integration for a large upgrade to an aircraft. The Program Manager will be responsible for budget and timeline, ensuring timelines and requirements are clearly defined and then met. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Subcontractors are aware of key milestones and on track. Periodic travel to either Phoenix, Arizona or Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be required, although most work can be done remotely.

ResponsibilitiesManage and direct the daily execution of programs and proposals within contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules, technical, financial, and performance goals are met.Act as the primary interface between external customers, suppliers/partners, and internal teams; define business direction, grow the program portfolio, manage complex strategic relationships (internal/external), and ensure on-time delivery of the highest quality.Lead integrated Program Teams responsible for the successful performance of new, complex development products.Lead the development of Statements of Work used for outsourcing Product Development work packages.Participate as a team leader on proposal activities and ensure that the requirements of the request for proposal are met in the preparation and documentation.Evaluate supplier proposals for pricing, capabilities, and ensure they deliver on-time and on-budget.Provide contractual interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing contracts and bid & proposal activities.Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure contractual, financial, technical, and schedule requirements are met.Maintain technical and commercial marketing objectives and assure program completion within established milestones.Plan, direct, maintain, and present project technical and financial status to the executive team.Guide the development of program business and technical strategies.Essential SkillsProgram managementRequirements managementAerospaceSystems IntegrationOverseeing requirements, budget, and timeline5+ years experience managing budgets and timelines for multimillion dollar aerospace programsAdditional Skills & QualificationsEngineering DegreeExperience managing programs involving systems integrationAbility to articulate work experience and proven success managing timelines and budgetsDefining requirements and pulling teams together to meet milestonesWork Environment

The position requires periodic travel to either Phoenix, Arizona or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Most work can be done remotely, but there will be important onsite meetings and travel onsite to kick things off.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Creek, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00/hr.
