Function Emerging Mobility Business Unit Pay Band E4 to M2 Role As a Program Manager, will be responsible for driving cross-functional business initiatives across the value chain. This role will anchor program governance, ensure alignment with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes through structured program management, stakeholder orchestration and KPI tracking.A purpose driven role for you Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Program Delivery & Governance: Define program charters, milestones, success criteria, and governance cadence Track interdependencies, manage risks, and drive action closure through regular PMO reviews Prepare and present management dashboards and executive updates Process & CapabilityDevelopment: Define and institutionalize SOPs, templates, and review mechanisms Conduct post-program reviews, capture learnings Benchmark PMO practices with leading OEMs to drive continuous improvement Data, Reporting & Insights: Maintain central PMO dashboards and trackers with updated program status and KPIs Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and visibility across functions Institutionalize digital tools for program tracking (Smartsheet / Power BI / Excel) Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management: Drive alignment between Product, Sales, Service, Brand, Marketing and Strategy teams Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure dependencies are addressed proactively Build influence-based accountability frameworks across the BU Business Planning & Prioritization: Translate BU strategy into executable programs with measurable business outcomes Support annual operating plan (AOP) with clear initiative mapping and KPI linkage Monitor initiative progress and flag deviations Support decision-making on program prioritization, trade-offs and impact A Day in the life As a Program Manager, will be responsible for driving cross-functional business initiatives across the value chain. This role will anchor program governance, ensure alignment with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes through structured program management, stakeholder orchestration and KPI tracking.Academic Qualification & Experience BE/ B.Tech, MBA Relevant Experience 7-10 years of prior experience in product development, program management, strategy or consulting.  Automotive/ EV domain is preferred Technical Skills/Knowledge Detailed analysis of business requirements and drafting comprehensive BRDs Managing end-to-end activities for product design and development, go to market, launch, market entry etc. Monitoring quality cost and time of projects, risk identification, reporting Value stream mapping for processes, benchmarking, improvement planning Execution of strategic initiatives such as cost optimization, supply chain visibility, salesforce effectiveness, marketing effectiveness, quality control, digital transformation etc. PMO charter drafting, risk registers, milestone charts, project summary Expert in Excel, PPT, Power Bi Behavioural Skills Strong ownership and execution bias Ability to break down complex business challenges into clear, actionable components with logical and data-backed approach Can build strong working relationships across the organization and foster a collaborative culture that enhances program delivery velocity Thrives in ambiguity and evolving business environments Attention to details What will it be like to work for Hero As the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years, Hero is where you will get to work with the brightest innovators, passionate about being the best in what they do.
