Job Description: Program Manager
The Program Manager role is a full-time onsite position in Janesville, WI. The Program Manager will lead and influence program teams, overseeing the coordination and implementation of various ammunition system projects. The role ensures quality and timely delivery within budget parameters through program planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires high levels of operational judgment to achieve goals and successes.
Responsibilities
Work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure strategies and priorities are communicated and executed within assigned programs.Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to achieve program success.Oversee the development and management of cross-functional, technology-led programs.Influence programs to meet customer expectations.Create and ensure effective communication across business functions; motivate and energize the team through leadership.Solve complex and ambiguous problems, leading strategic and forward-thinking cross-functional program execution.Work with customers to solicit product feedback to meet product quality and customer expectations.Provide mentoring and coaching to develop cross-functional talent.Provide expert guidance and support to the product program organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, engineering, supply chain, and service.Drive a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, accountability, continual improvement, and collaboration.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Five years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering.Two years of experience in program management, project leadership, or driving new product introduction.Experience in cross-functional relationships, with strong influence and communication skills.Demonstrated execution of meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget.Engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes experience from concept through end of life.Familiarity with regulatory standards.Ability to deliver results while leading multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Knowledge of Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools.Experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity.Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification.Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent.Experience in the defense industry is preferred, with aerospace or automotive as desired backups.Experience in a manufacturing setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
