Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and drive the success of aerospace and defense projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage project performance, cost, and schedule while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
Manage the performance, cost, and schedule for aerospace and defense projects.Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and ensure successful execution.Maintain and communicate project schedules, statuses, and present any issues to stakeholders.Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage change control processes.Track project risks and opportunities, conducting variance analysis as needed.Lead project teams in a matrix environment, facilitating meetings and ensuring accountability.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation capabilities.Ability to read blueprints and CAD models with basic GD&T knowledge.Understanding of P&L statements, cash management, and strong Excel skills.Negotiation skills in financial, contractual, and technical aspects.Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.Adaptability to fast-paced, high-impact projects.Additional Skills & Qualifications
PMP Certification.Experience with contract compliance matrices.Exposure to aerospace manufacturing environments.Experience with variance analysis and collaboration with finance teams.Traits such as proactive communication, high integrity, strong teamwork, empathy, and transparency.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with a focus on Project Management.Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance (must maintain).Must be a “U.S. Person” per ITAR regulations.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
