Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Manager.
In this role, the successful candidate We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Program manager to join the Healthy Families Sunset Park program. Healthy Families Sunset Park is a home visiting program that engages pregnant or newly parenting caregivers with the
goal of supporting positive parent-child bonding, promoting child and family health and development, and enhancing
family resilience. This program is delivered within the context of a healthcare system in collaboration with internal and
external stakeholders.
The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and guiding the program in achieving its
objectives. The Program Manager will have administrative experience in human service or related program(s); experience
in home visiting programs; knowledge and experience in strength-based, family centered provision of primary prevention
services. In collaboration with the Director of Maternal Child Health programs, the Program Manager will ensure that all
aspects of service delivery to families are implemented and executed according to the HFNY home visiting model. They
will monitor the HFNY database and complete quarterly and annual reports and facilitate Quality Assurance monitoring.
The Program Manager will be a member of community and perinatal task force committees. They will facilitate community
partnerships and participation in family/community events and support groups.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide reflective supervision and support to program supervisor(s) and/or direct service staff Provide ongoing evaluation and assessment and coordinate staff development and training Ensure that all aspects of service delivery to families are implemented and executed according to the HFNY home visiting model Monitor HFNY database and complete quarterly and annual reports Work collaboratively in a team-based setting with internal and external stakeholders Facilitate community partnerships and participate in family and community events Participate in HFNY leadership meetings, perinatal task force committees, and host Brooklyn Advisory Board meetings Facilitate monthly staff meetings Ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive documentation in written and electronic database management systems Use data as a tool for program development, evaluation and improvement, and quality assurance monitoring Support outreach and participant recruitment activities Assure that program performance indicators, targets and outcomes are met Assist in the preparation of budgets and contractual processes Review developmental assessments and provide support with high-risk participants and crisis intervention
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Masters degree in public health or human services administration or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelors degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a Bachelors degree but with commensurate HFA experience
a solid understanding of and experience in managing diverse staff with humility
administrative experience in human services or related field, including experience in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement
willingness to engage in building reflective practice (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing value of supervision, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
infant mental health endorsement preferred (if available in the state)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.01 – $88,200.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
