Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals leading the Product Support IPT on the MQ-4C Triton program. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

Product Support (PS) Enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead will work to ensure logistics products and services are executed in accordance with the Triton Program Statement of Work (SOW) and Northrop Grumman Policies and Procedures. The IPT manager will lead a diverse team of engineers, planners, logisticians and field support personnel tasked to ensure the sustainment and future development of the platform in domestic and overseas locations.

The Triton PS Enterprise IPT Lead will interface with Customer Program Offices, Program Leaders, Business Operations/Integration, and Product Support Engineering Service Centers to shape future requirements and ensure contracted requirements defined by the SOW are achieved within budget, schedule, quality, and closure criteria.

This individual may lead internal and external Teammates/Suppliers to ensure Program Performance, cost/schedule and quality objectives are achieved.

Additionally, this individual will have the following responsibilities:

Oversee and at times lead preparation of presentation materials to support Program Reviews.Oversee the organization’s input to Change Board Activity such as Technical Review Board, Configuration Control Board, and Joint CCBs and will have oversight of what is presented in change packages as necessary.Lead and have oversight for the logistics technical performance of the Triton platform and must closely collaborate with peers within Product Support and at the parallel levels of the other program IPTs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined belowRelated experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in program management, product support and/or logistics/military flight operationsProven leadership of engineering cross-functional teams within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environmentPrior experience with program execution including cost, schedule, risk and performance accountabilityActive DoD Interim Secret Clearance (or higher)Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needsAbility and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.Must be able to obtain a Valid U.S. Passport

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in a STEM disciplineActive TS/SCI/SAP ClearanceDemonstrated experience managing complex responsibilities with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).Strong background in customer engagement, proposal development, and contract executionFamiliarity with government/military contracts, acquisition process, and sustainment requirementsExperience working Logistics efforts on different phases of the program lifecyclePrevious experience working with United States Navy customer.Prior military experience to include aviation maintenance and or/fight operations.Experience with Earned Value Management.Deep understanding of Product Support elements: Reliability & Maintainability, Prognostics Health Management (PHM), Modeling & Simulation, Fleet Operations. Support Hardware, and ProvisioningMust have five or more years of experience managing complex cost accounts.Experience with Statement of Work (SOW) development, Basis of Estimate (BOE) creation and negotiations.Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across engineering, supply chain, business management, and program managementExceptional communication skills- able to brief program leadership, engage customers, and translate technical content to stakeholdersAbility to delegate effectively while maintaining accountability for overall IPT success.Strategic thinker with ability to align team objectives with program and functional goals 

Primary Level Salary Range: $193,000.00 - $289,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
