Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Program Manager 1 to join our E-130J Program Mission System Integrated Product Team (IPT) of qualified, diverse individuals in our Strategic Command, Control and Communications Systems (Strategic C3 System) Business Unit.
This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. This Program Manager (PM) 1 position has the responsibility of supporting the Mission System IPT Lead with elements of cost, schedule, and performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead cross-functional IPT to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance for assigned scopeRisk and opportunity managementLead Supplier Management Team (SMT) managing suppliers to meet program objectivesAssess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goalsDelivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersAssess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goalsDevelops metrics for monitoring the health of project progress and for intervention and problem solving with IPT and Functional Homerooms LeadsThe successful candidate must have a record of achieving successful outcomes by leading diverse technical teams, navigating internal processes, communicating with customers, creating a work environment that engages our employees, managing suppliers, bringing clarity and clear direction to ambiguous situations, excelling in the fundamentals of program management and perceptive use of predictive metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 6 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 5 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 4 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 3 years) of related experience as defined belowRelated experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functionsActive Top-Secret clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluationExperienced Control Account ManagerExperience in Subcontract AdministrationExperience in Supply Chain Project ManagementPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with cross-functional lead-level engagement (Engineering, GSC, Product Support, Global Manufacturing, Mission Assurance, etc.)Experience with Earned Value ManagementExperience managing program/projects of > $20 Million / year with Profit & Loss responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience meeting customer needs, building strong relationships with strategic partners and guiding program teams and support functions to take action to satisfy customer expectationsPrimary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $140,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
